If you experience any of the following symptoms: changes in vision, ringing in the ears, dizziness, fainting, rapid heartbeat, nausea, headache, rash, difficulty breathing, then you should get yourself to an emergency room right away and stop taking quinidine until you spoken with your doctor or emergency room specialists.

Some of the problems that could be resulting in taking quinidine could have to do with a number of things that may seem unrelated previously but you should always let your doctor know of any health problems before you begin a regimen on any medicine. Some of these potential previous involvements include things like allergic reactions, development of blood problems, heart disease or heart problems, liver disease, kidney disease or another nerve disorder.

Other possible side effects of quinidine include to the unknown factor of what will happen to your unborn child. You should not take this medication if you are pregnant or you could become pregnant during the treatment period.

Another potential sticking point in taking the quinidine doses is if you do not take them with a full glass of water. If you get an upset stomach when taking quinidine then you may take it with food to lessen the blow but you should only take the quinidine as directed by your doctor.
